Let's Build a Tree
A creative, calm casual game where you build a robotic tree to gain Ox and Energy to build and expand higher.

This was part of a Game Jam where participants can only use Unity, with the theme 'Expanding.' I created this game all by myself and within 1 week. and it ended up in 27th placement, with 9th in Interpretation of the Theme.
What I done
Thinking hard and much with the theme, I wanted to create something that fits well with the theme and be unique so it wouldn't follow what other participants might do, so I thought of a creative game where you make a tree with several branches and connecting them all to make it bigger and higher, which will be the naming reason for the theme.

So I created an easy game where you have to place branches to connect with the trunk or other branches, with different verities so it can be more creative. to make the game engaging, I included Energy so that the player has to earn it to use the branches that cost energy and 'Ox' which is the points system that unlocks more branches and gives more opportunities, allowing the player an objective if they want to use the better branches.

I made the assets myself, which took most of the week I only had to create the game, but that's the important part of the game to create verity. if I had to do it again, I should have focused on other aspects, as people didn't like the appearance of the buttons or the visuals other than the tree.
