My Involvement
I joined a team that already had an idea for the 20 second Jam, my role in the team was the 2D Background Artist.

Before any artwork was made, I had discussions with my team and the other artist focusing on interactables on the art style and layout, we ended up choosing a style similar to a game called Rhythm Heaven,

Background ideas
For each level, I came up with different background ideas, using tools for both MS Paint and Paint NET, I tried to make each background stand out while giving its own reason to appear as it is. For this game, it's supposed to take place in a room with a green table.

Once I made the different background images, the team cast a vote on which one we liked the most, with the most votes being used. Here are each backgrounds for each level, with the yellow highlight being the chosen background.

Game Menu

I also did UI art, the buttons, I also made up to 4 different ideas, but all of them relating to the theme of the game, eventually 3 was the one that got voted, which is the one I like because it looks like a cigar.

Doobie Dash
Doobie Dash is a quick, 20 second game, with 5 quick mini-games all involving the process of making, rolling and smoking a cigar.

This game was part of the '20 second game jam' where the game has to be less than 20 seconds.

I was in a team of around 5 and I was responsible for making the background deisgn art.
