


My Development
I thought about the concept of the game during my time at college and started development as an assignment in my final year at university.
At the time I was doing trial and errors on C# programming, designing the game and character design. starting with the protagonist and the bedrock of this world, Rebecca Redheart.
I did sketches of her face, down to the freckles and ended up with a design I was happy with and worked on game features such as movements, interactions and dialogue.
This game was also my first attempt at programming a dialogue system, look up online on how to make the text type and advance the line of next from one to the next.

Game Bible
Originally, during development, See Only Evil was planned to be a much bigger project. Consisting of 5 chapters, with the entirety of Rebecca's Origins being chapter 1. and RNG-based outcomes from both the player's and the environment's choices.
This bible gives full details of the existing and planned features for the game.
A game bible was written when I tried to develop the game for Tranzfuser, building a team called 'Redheart Games' and further developing the demo into a full game. but the submission was rejected.
The Game Bible remains of how much I've planned for the game.

We never know what life takes us. we never know.
But for Rebecca Redheart and her older sister, it has taken them into a world full of superpowers. A time when superheroes, fight a neverending conflict with the forces of evil villains. As bystanders, they cheer on their grand protectors of peace and justice.
What an amazing time to be alive...
